The Cornwall-on-Hudson Fire Department was summoned to a report of "flames coming out of the back of the house" at 13 Boulevard. Upon arrival of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Officers, they confirmed a working fire with flames through the roof. As the daytime pool of available volunteer firefighters is very scarce, a 2nd Alarm was requested. Cornwall Fire Department Truck 402 was on automatic aid to cover the out of service Tower 413, Cornwall also sent an Engine, City of Newburgh Fire Department sent an Engine and Truck, Washingtonville Fire Department provided the FAST and New Windsor Fire Department sent an Engine to the scene. The community was covered by West Point with a Tower Ladder and Salisbury Mills with an Engine. Cornwall EMS provided rehab and transported one Firefighter who was injured during the blaze but has been released and is doing well. No one was home at the time of the Fire.
